Photoshoot for LUX medical aesthetics

I got to photograph the loveliest lady! Rachel Barber has opened a new medical aesthetics business in downtown Ukiah.  First off, I love the name of her new business–Lux. The word Lux originated as a Latin word meaning “light.” (Photography and light are synonymous, so that right there is a winning name from a photographer’s prospective!) I also love Rachel’s attention to detail and her sense of style which is apparent in her choices, from the name of her business, to office decor and even her logo. Think of combining bright and clean with a touch of warm and cozy, and you have the idea of what it feels like to step into her office. I loved using natural light to create these images for her website and busienss.

Rachel has years of experience as an NP, spending countless hours in the ER room and servicing patients in hospitals. She has also done hundreds of clinical hours for her new practice, all while remaining a dedicated mother to her daughter and keeping up with life. She has recently found her passion in medical aesthetics and is now helping other woman care for, treat and feel more comfortable in their skin. I loved getting to know her better while we chatted and snapped photos. She is lovely, elegant and graceful. I hope you will drop by her office and see how she can help you love your skin even more.
