Mendocino County sunset engagement photo shoot

I woke up this morning and couldn’t get Megan and Miguel off my mind. Our engagement photoshoot yesterday evening was so lovely!
Ever since I met my husband and somehow just knew he was “the one” (a concept that complete eluded and baffled me up until that point), I’ve become more attuned to the right kind of chemistry between couples—the kind that lasts. These two certainly have it! Megan and Miguel, you have both found a beautiful companion. It’s one of life’s awesome gifts to find a safe place to put your heart—and leave it there wide open. It makes me happy that you two have found that place in each other. I can’t wait until the moment you become husband and wife.
These favorites images from our session give me all the feels. I get a physical fuzzy warm feeling when I see a photo that has more to it than just perfect light and composition—when it has life and love emanating from it like these do! I loved editing your session so much. It was hard to pull myself away to do anything else.
