Palace of Fine Arts and San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge engagement session

Kayla and Chris as absolutely the cutest together. It’s like they were meant for each other. Their chemistry is a Jim and Pam vibe (for any The Office fans out there)—deep and relaxed.
We chose the beautiful and historic Palace of Fine Arts for the first half of their photoshoot. Surrounded by hundred of tourists, we still managed to capture plenty of images that would make you think they had the whole Palace of Fine Arts to themselves. The light was so dreamy and perfect.
For the second part of our shoot, we quickly hopped over to Baker Beach just in time to get the stunning Golden Gate Bridge shimmering in the setting sun. Cozy and connected photos just happened so naturally.
Although at first they weren’t too sure they wanted to, but I begged Chris and Kayla if they would try “the lift” pose. “Please??? Trust me. Are you kidding?—with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background, it will look amazing!!!” They kindly obliged, and boy did they both nail that lift! Epic. One of my favorite photos to date.
I cannot wait to photograph these two beautiful lovebirds for their November 2020 wedding.
