Northern California Lifestyle Newborn Photoshoot

This beautiful family welcomed another little girl into their lives, making them a family of four. I was so very honored to come to their beautiful northern California home and photograph all this loveliness.
I had not been well for a few days, but thankfully, as the day approached, I was back on my game just in time for our photoshoot date. I would not have missed this beautiful photo-op for the world. My heart has a special soft spot for new moms and moms adjusting to a new baby. I remember it being such a tumultuous time when that tiny helpless peanut would come home from the hospital in my arms! Now, looking back I’m always filled with a bit of nostalgia for holding that brand new baby. The crying and sleepless nights truly are forgotten, but the magic of a new life is always present. There is something very special about lifestyle-in-home photoshoots.—The warmth and cozy element makes these photos some of my favorites.
