I met Mason and Bianca one month before their lovely backyard reception last Saturday, October 20th, 2018. I was very honored to be able to second shoot their intimate wedding with the talented photographer Adam J Clark in the beginning of September. While Mason was waiting for his bride, he kept saying, “I know every Groom probably says this, but my fiancé really IS the best and most beautiful—inside and out!” Mason could not stop smiling. His excitement was palpable, and when I met Bianca, I understood why. She was as beautiful and as joyful as he described. The warmth and friendliness of these two makes them lovely to be around and perfect for each other. Their ceremony reflected their love perfectly. They each read handwritten vows which were so beautiful and heartfelt, while Bianca’s Mother officiated the ceremony! (I was quite thankful for the tissue I always bring along in my camera bag!) It’s obvious their love is meant to be.
When Bianca and Mason contacted me about photographing their backyard reception in October, I was delighted for the opportunity to work with them again! The intimate reception was a fun, relaxed and enjoyable environment. Their celebration was centered around sharing their joy with friends and family, while making those around them feel loved and appreciated for being in their lives.
Bianca and Mason have wonderful families. The love between parents, grandparents, children, siblings, cousins, aunts and uncles is very beautiful. As the photographer, I also personally felt so much kindness and warmth as I was asked by the family several times if I was doing okay and if I needed anything throughout the evening. The older I get, the more I realize how important family is and the more I appreciate my own family. It’s lovely to walk into a gathering like this and see the love flow between everyone.
Bianca and Mason moved around throughout the afternoon laughing and talking with all their guests, making sure to greet and thank each one personally for joining them and taking part in their celebration. There was dancing and laughter and love in the air! As the evening began to wind down, Bianca and Mason were sure to personally say goodbye to each guest and pose for a picture with them. They are some of the warmest and friendliest people, and I wish them all the love in the world on their journey together!
