Melissa and Cole—A Beautifully Warm Fall Family Session

I photographed Melissa and Cole during the spring when she was pregnant with Zadie, their youngest. When she asked me about taking their family photos for their now larger family of five, I was delighted!
Let me take a moment here to reminisce on the last time I tried to take photos for my own family of only four—we have two boys. Well, it wasn’t easy! (I think every photographer should regularly take their own family photos to keep in touch with the task of getting an entire family prepared for a photo session!!)
So when I saw Melissa and Cole show up with beautiful outfits, three perfectly groomed children looking lovely and dapper, and prepped to give me their best smiles, I had to say “Just wow!”
With stuffed animals and shakers to grab the little ones attention, we were able to capture some beautiful photos of this lovely family.
